The rooms at Hotel Hakone Terrace are amazing! They have everything you need. The bathroom is spacious and the shower has really good pressure. There's free WiFi in the room, and the balcony is a great spot to relax.
The only thing I didn't particularly like was the microwave in the room. I personally prefer using the hotel's restaurant for meals.

Spacious and comfortable room with a well-equipped kitchenette. The beds were clean and comfortable, and the wifi worked well. The location was perfect for exploring the nearby attractions and museums. Plus, the balcony and terrace provided a nice place to relax and enjoy the scenic surroundings.
There were limited utensils in the kitchenette, which made it a bit challenging to cook meals. the lack of crockery was a downside, as we had to make do with plastic cups for hot beverages.

I absolutely loved the charming and elegant decor of the hotel. It reminded me of a traditional Japanese ryokan with its beautiful wooden furnishings and sliding doors. The general areas were spacious and easily accessible, perfect for senior people like myself to navigate comfortably. I especially appreciated the well-maintained gardens and sitting areas where I could relax and enjoy the serene surroundings.
I would have preferred if the children working there had more knowledge and understanding of the needs and preferences of senior guests. A little more attention and assistance from the staff in accommodating our needs would have made the vacation even better for us seniors.

Friendly staff, especially Shiino san, who helped us report a car crash. Front desk lady offered supper after their restaurant closed. Clean, new rooms with comfortable beds and powerful showers. Convenient location with nearby activities.
